Neutron star in a binary system is believed to have solid crust. In this publication, effect of solid crust is discussed on the emitted gvatiotational wave signal in binary neutron star merger.

Constraining neutron star equation of state

One of the key challenges of current astrophysics is to constrain neutron star (NS) equation of state (EoS). Recent observations of NS macroscopic properties by LIGO and NICER collaborations are combined under  Bayesian formalism to place a joint constraint on NS EoS based on nuclear physics-informed prior knowledges.
